DNA extractions of the collected samples are carried out centralised and standardised. In order to collect robust genetic data that can be used to perform a variety of analyses and calculate various indicators, the entire genome is sequenced. On this basis, basic values for genetic diversity as well as indicators for genetic structure, functional cross-linking, inbreeding, interspecific hybridisation, adaptive diversity and adaptability are calculated.
